Week 4-6 (4.13-5.1) Assignments
Going for Broke Project:
Leisure and Entertainment
The instructions for this section are located at the very bottom of the Lesson Plan located on this page. Please read all instructions (on the lesson plan AND the packet) as they will answer most of your questions. There are 4 different charts you will need to analyze to complete this section. Take your time. I am pushing the due date for this project out to next week (Friday May 15th). Do not rush through this and turn in sloppy work. Be diligent and make sure your math is correct. Text me on Remind with questions.
Food
Alright! Moving on to food! You will have to complete come math here as well, so make sure you read instructions carefully and use common sense about meal planning. Let me know if you have questions.
Furniture:
You will now complete the "furniture" section of your packet. If there is furniture you parents will allow you to take from home when you move out, then you can list it in the top chart (ex: bed, nightstand, desk). You have received $400.00 from graduation gifts and can spend that on furniture for your new place. This amount will obviously not furnish the entire apartment, so choose wisely. You ARE allowed to spend OVER the $400.00, just know it will add to your debt in the end. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PACKET.
Transportation:
Before you start the "Transportation" section, I need to check your "career", "home", and "bills" pages and give you the "all clear" to move ahead. It's important that your math is correct up to this point or you will have to go back and change everything at the end. Make sure you read EVERY instruction and detail as some modes of transportation you will NOT be able to select depending on your "home" page.
My Bills:
Before you start the "Bills" section, I need to check your career and home pages. Then you need to fill out the questionnaire BEFORE you look at the chart for this section. The "Bills" chart is located on the Lesson Plan below. Scroll all the way to the bottom to find the link to the bills chart.
My Home:
Before you start, message me on remind or in email to let me know you have completed the "Career" page. I will check, provide feedback called "Lacey's Feedback", and then allow you to move on to "my home". You are not allowed to complete this section until I have checked off on your "Career" page!
All "My Home" information needed can be found on the lesson plans in the section below.
